***Accepting New Clients *** My name is Mazie Ellis. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. I obtained my Master of Social Work with Walden University with a specialization in mental health, general practical services and substance addiction working with a variety of settings with children, adolescents, and adults. My focus is to help and empower Military Soldiers, Veterans, Children, Adolescents and Adults who deal with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, trauma, substance use, and life adjustment face their challenges by developing skills to apply and thrive fully in their life.
As a therapist my goal is to provide a safe and supportive space that allows you to regulate your emotions and thoughts, be heard, respected, valued, and empowered without judgement. I provide virtual therapy for adults and in-person therapy for children (9-16). I utilize a variety of solution-focused therapy, strength-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and supportive therapy that addresses anxiety, depression, anger management, self-esteem, trauma, life adjustments, and substance addiction use therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual needs.
Seeking help can be challenging and sometimes frustrating, I am here to encourage and help you navigate those obstacles.
